There are special moments that are open channels in which a different kind of time emerges; an inside-Sumari kind of non-time. And in that time, everything is miraculous. One hour of it is worth—well, days of ordinary minutes. In Sumari time, you can learn something in a twinkling that might otherwise take years, and insights spring up, brilliant as fresh fruit, for the picking. This Sumari time is the special heart of time, and contains its real meaning.

Seth: Your expectations alone will change your material circumstances.

An understanding of the rule of expectation is the one truly practical step you can take whenever any change in physical circumstances is desired.

You must watch your expectations.

You must replace the negative images you have with positive ones.

The negative ones are being faithfully reproduced in physical terms. And, this is hardly to your advantage.

If you thoroughly understood what that means then you do, indeed, live and experience a safe universe.

When you find yourself in a period of distress, it is because you do not trust your safety.

When you... find yourself now and then encountering such feelings;... feelings of insecurity – then admit to yourself that... they do not belong in the safe one.

Literally, such feelings make no sense in a safe universe.

You have to make a complete choice.

"The eye projects and focuses the inner image (idea) onto the physical world in the same manner that a motion-picture camera transfers an image onto a screen. The mouth creates words. The ears create sound. The difficulty in understanding this principle is due to the fact that we've taken it for granted that the image and sound already exist for the senses to interpret. Actually the senses are the channels of creation by which idea is projected into material expression.

If you are furious, then beat a pillow and experience the rage, but without violence to another.

Admit your feelings to yourself. Openly be aware of them.

If they are unpleasant feelings then be aware of them as you would be aware of BLACK CLOUDS THAT PASS YOUR WINDOW.

Do not pretend they do not exist, or YOU WILL RUN INTO TROUBLE.

Once you have accepted your feelings then refuse to let the balance of your mind be upset by such disturbances even though you recognize them.

"Often it may simply sound like a figure of speech when I talk about probabilities. In many ways it may indeed appear to be almost outrageous to consider the possibility that "there is more than one earth" or that there are many earths, each similar enough to be recognizable, yet each different in the most vital respects.

This particular house exists. Yet you may open the door on any given day to a probable world from your immediate standpoint, and never know the difference. This happens all the time, and I mean all the time.
